Clinical Trials

What are clinical trials?

Researchers conduct clinical trials to find out about the safety and effectiveness of new drugs, treatments and therapies or to identify different or improved methods for those that already exist.

Find out more about clinical trails such as phases, protocols, informed consent, benefits / risks, and more at the National Institute of Health's Clinical Trials.Gov.

Participate in or Locate an Obesity Research Study

Before participating in a clinical trial, there are several questions you should think about to determine if a study is appropriate for you.
